Martin in bow tie mode

Speaker

Having lived experience in Health and Social Care, I have participated in workshops and training delivered by Equal Lives, Norfolk County Council and the UEA.

I am also an I Care Ambassador Associate where I’m occasionally asked to speak to local sixth form, college students and job fairs to talk about Social Care.

I’m keen on sharing my experiences in hoping to inspire others. This ranges from adventures on Snowdon, Ben Nevis and in the Himalayas when I was an ‘a led’ disabled person to diversifying to using the Boma to cross England after having complete respiratory failure and being more dependent on others.

If you would like me to come and talk to your group, please get in touch clicking on the contact link in the menu bar.

Please be aware that while I am willing to donate my time, I need to make a charge to cover travel and accommodation expenses if relevant, and my costs relating to my support worker where they are in addition to my usual day-to-day budget.
